1. Who we are
This policy applies to theanalyticssystem.com, the official website of The Analytics System by Gadiel Guadarrama, published by Wyckham House.
The site is an informational book website. It does not operate user accounts, collect payment-card information, or run an email waiting list.
2. What data we collect
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (property ID G-6KF8PDQ54S) with Consent Mode v2. Analytics storage is denied by default and full analytics cookies are enabled only after you accept the Analytics category.
When analytics consent is granted, Google Analytics may collect information such as:
- pages visited, session duration, and navigation paths;
- referring source or campaign information;
- device type, operating system, and browser;
- approximate geographic region; and
- interactions such as clicks on the Amazon purchase links and market/format selections.
The site also integrates the X Pixel (Pixel ID rd38f) for advertising measurement. The X Pixel is not loaded unless you accept the Advertising measurement category. When enabled, X may receive information associated with visits and conversion events, including page/campaign context, device and browser information, IP-derived information, cookie or click identifiers such as X Click ID, and the dedicated Amazon CTA event when an Amazon purchase button is clicked.
We do not send email addresses, phone numbers, Amazon account details, or payment information to X through this implementation. The website itself does not ask visitors to submit an email address, professional role, account profile, or payment information. If you contact us directly by email, the information in that correspondence is handled only for the purpose of responding to you and maintaining necessary business records.
3. How and why we use it
Analytics data is used to understand how readers discover and use the site, evaluate page performance, and measure aggregate engagement with the book's public information, market and format selections, and purchase links. Outbound clicks are not confirmed purchases; the site does not receive Amazon order confirmations.
When you separately accept Advertising measurement, the X Pixel is used to measure X Ads performance, attribute site actions after ad interactions, and support Website Activity Audiences for campaign analysis and retargeting. We do not sell personal data.
For visitors in the EU/EEA and Ireland, optional analytics and advertising-measurement technologies are used on the basis of consent. You may decline either category without losing access to the site.
4. Third-party services and external links
Google Analytics. Google acts as the analytics service provider for this site. Its processing is governed by Google's applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
X Ads / X Pixel. X provides conversion tracking and Website Activity Audience functionality for advertising measurement. X may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and related identifiers when the Advertising measurement category is enabled. You can review X's privacy controls for personalized ads at X Help.
Amazon. The site's purchase buttons link to Amazon. The transaction, account relationship, payment processing, pricing, fulfilment, and any data collected after you leave this site are governed by Amazon's own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive your Amazon account or payment details through this website.
The site also links to Gadiel Analytics and social platforms. Those destinations operate independently and apply their own privacy terms.
5. Retention
Google Analytics retention is governed by the configuration of the GA4 property and Google's service terms. X controls retention for data processed through its advertising technology under its own service and cookie policies; X states that visitors collected through Website Activity Audiences remain in those audiences for up to 90 days. Direct email correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide rights including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. These rights may arise under laws including the GDPR in the EU/EEA and Ireland, the CCPA/CPRA in California, and applicable Mexican privacy law.
To make a privacy request relating to information controlled by Gadiel Guadarrama / Wyckham House, contact hello@theanalyticssystem.com. Requests concerning data held independently by Amazon, Google, or another third party should be directed to that provider.
7. Cookies and consent
Optional tracking is denied by default. The site's privacy controls let you choose Analytics and Advertising measurement separately. Analytics controls GA4 storage; Advertising measurement controls whether the X Pixel loads and whether the Amazon CTA event can be sent to X.
Your choices are stored locally in your browser under the key tas_consent_v2. A prior analytics-only choice stored under tas_consent is never treated as consent for X advertising measurement. You can reopen the controls at any time using Privacy choices in the site footer, or clear local storage to reset the decision.
If you withdraw Advertising measurement after previously enabling it, the site reloads so that the X Pixel is no longer active on the current page. X also provides separate controls for interest-based advertising through its own privacy settings and opt-out mechanisms.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or distribution model changes. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date.
